QUALITY OF TUBING

The common saying is that "you get what you pay for". Most of the time that is true. In the case of our tubing, you get much more than you pay for! In a market place full of cheap product, look at the advantage of competitively priced Henco tubing from Radiant Outfitters.

a. High quality European tubing. The European nations developed hydronic heating and are experts at it. They are deservingly recognized as the global leaders. You might say that is great, but I like to buy American. We do too! However, there is not one pex-al-pex manufacture in the USA. European quality is the very best option that is available.

b. 100% oxyen barrier. To increase the life of your heating system (manifolds, pumps, boiler, zone controls, etc) you need to keep oxygen out of the system. That is why hydronic heating systems have air scoops and vents or other mechanical devices to purge the air out of the water inside the system. The easiest way to do this is with tubing that has a quality oxygen barrier. Our tubing has a butt-welded (the latest and best technology) aluminum sleeve that is 100% oxygen proof. The companies that sell tubing that just has a plastic or chemical compound barrier cannot say theirs is 100% oxygen proof.

c. Our tubing has industry leading temperature and pressure ratings. They are 203F at 145psi!!

d. Another advantage of the butt-welded aluminum sleeve mentioned above is its superior strength and form compared to the old style overlap weld. An overlap weld creates a thick spot of aluminum which therefore reduces the thickness of the pex plastic material in that area. The overlap weld also fights itself and is known to be the weakest link in the tubing. This is not the case with our high tech butt-welded level seam aluminum layer!
